SHANKHA Vol 6 : APPEAL FOR SUBMISSIONS AND ADVERTISEMENTS
It is that time of the year! We are super excited to announce the next publication of Shanka and we are on our 6th volume. This edition will cover the events and happenings of 2022 and 2023.
Indeed, we have come a long way, and this journey would not have been possible without the blessings of our MBA members and contributors. Please let us come together once again to make this edition the best ever. Send in your articles, poems, and any contribution of interest to our community latest by 30 November 2024.
We would also like to appeal for advertisements and sponsors. Shankha is a self-generating publication that costs around RM 8000.00 per edition. We do not receive any funding from the Committee’s financial reserves and Shankha is distributed free to all MBA members. The publication is not an income generator that could facilitate a plough back of funds into the production, instead it is an effort to bring together our community in harmonious solidarity to support each other’s passion, interests, and endeavours.
To that end, we are introducing smaller ad spaces and ‘classified ad’ style to encourage more sponsors to come forward and advertise their services or products. Do consider advertising your business – big or small, home-based or organisational, as the rates are competitive and starting at as low as RM50.00 per insertion. By advertising your business on Shankha, you will not only support your community, but will increase the reach of your venture.
